SEMINAR FOR PRACTITIONERS

Following the extremely successful awareness-raising seminar that was held in 2006, this event has been organised for practitioners from Kent and Medway who work with or provide services for young people.  It is hoped that the various presentations, discussions and workshops will:

  • Explore what factors impact upon the safety and wellbeing of lesbian, gay and bisexual (LGB) young people
  • Hear from young people about the impact of homophobia
  • Provide practical guidance to enable you to better support this group of young people
